Our legislative priorities stem from our experience addressing the issues that face women today. Our strategy is two fold:
- Enable low-paid women to increase their educational attainment.
- Address the problems of low-wage work so that workers are rewarded fairly and treated with respect.

CHICAGO – On March 20, Women Employed kicks off a year-long celebration of its 40th anniversary with an inspiring event featuring three intergenerational experts who will come together to discuss four decades of successes surrounding women’s economic advancement, equity, and activism—and how far we still have to go.
