In the next major relief package, Congress must prioritize the economic stability and security of working women and families struggling to survive the COVID-19 pandemic. We must ensure that paid leave provisions and protections are incorporated into the final package. We need to strengthen and expand emergency paid sick days and paid family and medical leave in the face of COVID-19 and codify those rights permanently after this public health emergency ends.
