In the next major relief package, Congress must prioritize the economic stability and security of working women and families struggling to survive the COVID-19 pandemic. We must ensure that the provisions and protections in the PAID Leave Act are incorporated into the final package. The PAID Leave Act strengthens and expands emergency paid sick days and paid family and medical leave in the face of COVID-19 and codifies those rights permanently after this public health emergency ends.
