Building Strong Pathways: Waubonsee’s Summer Bridge Programs and Advising Guide as Models for Developmental Education Reform

Waubonsee Community College‘s Academic Support team has taken a bold, intentional approach to reimagining developmental education. Through innovative Summer Bridge programs in math and English, students build early academic momentum while receiving the support needed to succeed. At the same time, a newly developed advising guide provides staff with clear course-sequencing pathways to help students stay on track and graduate on time.

This webinar will take you inside the design and implementation of both initiatives, highlighting lessons learned, student impact, and practical strategies for replication.
