Equal Pay Chicago Pay Equity Series: Making Salary Transparency Work
March 12 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CDT
Salary transparency becomes the law in Illinois on January 1, 2025, but businesses across the city and the country are not waiting to reap the benefits of this evidence-based pay equity practice.
Join the Equal Pay Chicago Coalition on Wednesday, March 12th from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. CT for a virtual panel focused on how employers can make salary transparency work, including practical tips and inspiration in fostering transparency and pay equity in their organizations.
We will showcase employers who already have instituted salary transparency practices, and who can offer lessons learned as well as the benefits and how to leverage them in attracting top talent, and importantly, helping to strengthen women’s financial wellbeing and close gender and racial wage gaps.
Panelists:
– Katrina Johnson Jones, Director, Human Resources, Compensation – Acquisition and Divestitures, BMO Financial Group
– First Deputy Chief of Staff, Dr. Cristina Pacione-Zayas, City of Chicago
– Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton, State of Illinois
