Equal Pay: Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present, and Empowering the Future

June 24 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm CDT

$25.00

The Equal Pay Chicago Coalition (EPCC) and Women Employed invite you to join us on Tuesday, June 24th for “Equal Pay: Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present, and Empowering the Future,” a momentous evening that brings together the past, present, and future of the fight for pay equity.

In addition to networking and light bites, the event will feature a screening of Lilly, a powerful film highlighting the life and legacy of Lilly Ledbetter, whose courage and determination sparked a movement for equal pay. We’ll also have a conversation with experts about the state of pay equity and salary transparency.

And we’ll celebrate recent milestones in Illinois, including the passage of our salary transparency law, and honor the future by recognizing the recipient of the inaugural Barb Yong Scholarship Contest.
