Research → Action → Impact: Leveraging Data to Close the Wage Gap for Latinas

October 3 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CDT

Free

Please join the Equal Pay Chicago Coalition (EPCC), for a powerful virtual event, hosted in collaboration with Mujeres Latinas en Acción, the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR), and Women Employed, on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 (Latina Equal Pay Day).

During this insightful webinar, we will explore key research conducted by IWPR and discuss how this data can be utilized to close the wage gap, not only for Latinas but for all women and non-binary individuals. Together, we’ll turn research into actionable strategies that support economic justice and build stronger, more equitable communities.

Moderated by: Izzy (Isabel) Dobbel, Political Director, Chicago Federation of Labor
Confirmed speakers: Martha Susana Jaimes, Senior Research Economist, IWPR; Starr De Los Santos, Associate Director of Coalitions, Women Employed/EPCC, and Linda Xóchitl Tortolero, President & CEO, Mujeres Latinas en Acción.

The event is free. Learn more and register here!
